Woodrow Wilson Elementary School serves about 600 kindergarten through sixth grade students in Cicero.
The school started seeing students around 1930. The original building and all additions were demolished in 2003 and replaced with the new facility that students attend today.
Woodrow Wilson Elementary has plenty of opportunities for students to explore and grow beyond the traditional curriculum. Choir, the Acts of Random Kindness Club, Literature Alive and a student council let students grow and explore. Intramural sports and the NFL Play 60 give older students the chance to expand their athletic interests.
The school's specialized staff members include a social worker, classroom interventionists, and a physical therapist who help to ensure the school can serve the various needs of all students. Additionally, a bilingual interventionist and an interpreter serve the large population of students whose first language is Spanish.

My son is in Kindergarten at this school. Two newsletters have been sent home with spelling and/or grammatical errors since the first day of school which was 8/23/17. This school is so amazing I went there for k-4 th grade and I wouldn't change it they did amazing job and had wonderful teachers a d staff members the at the time I could actually say they cared about what I did and what was going to happen in the long run!
