GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Stevens High School is a hit or miss. When I speak up, Sometimes I'm heard and sometimes ignored. Although there are certain staff that don't listen, there are others that are amazing. I feel some teachers are better than the admin. A good thing about the school is that if I'm ever falling behind, my teachers make sure that I get caught up and succeed. I want the whole system in the school to change. It's not the most fair and is easy to pass with no structure.

I love our music department but I wish there would be more funding to the arts since a lot of the focus is on sports. There also needs to be a lot more done about the bullying issues at this school, I've been bullied for my whole high school career (and before) and not a lot was ever done

I can't really compare it to other highschools as this was the only one I've known. There have been some problems here and there, such as between administration and their teachers but overall, people who work there want to make it a better place. And for that alone, is worth 4 stars.

Absolutely the worst school for special education that we’ve ever encountered. Staff and administration don’t seem to care much for their disabled students. Milked my son’s testing and IEP for a year so he would turn 18 and drop out. They refuse to do anything unless your child is a brick and mortar...

From a former student perspective, I'll never forget the time my little brother broke his hand at school, and the nurse wouldn't listen, or call our parents, he had to wait until end of the day to go to the ER. I'll never forget the gym teacher just watching as I was sexually harrassed by one of his...

If your child ever needs to use the bathroom, don't expect privacy. The school removes all doors from all bathrooms. They are also constantly closing all bathrooms down only allowing one bathroom open, to cover all floors of the building and all students. If you are a parent and want to talk to the s...

Stevens helps prepare you for the real world like no other school can. The difference in socioeconomic classes give individuals great learning experience by learning among peers that come from diverse backgrounds. Mostly everyone at this school has to work extremely hard to succeed which in return b...
