GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience has been amazing and hard at the same time. I do activities during and after school which, could get hard but ultimately fun. I would like the school to change when we have too many tests on one day to limit to only being able to have two tests on one day. That would make my life easier so I only have to focus on two tests in one day.

I like the new principal and how she's changing the school in a positive way. She is making the school look better and putting in a second turf field. I would love to see more student body involvement and school spirit.

It was a great environment and I really don't see anything that needs to change. The teachers were great and always willing to help if I needed any extra help with work or a subject. The people I had in class were always friendly and also helpful if we were working on a project as a group or as an individual. Also we all had a great pride in our school along with all our teams!!

Overall the teaching staff is very helpful and looks to help students constructively, but there are definitely some issues within the student body.

This school is a major disappointment, especially when compared to other high schools in the Union County area. It was not uncommon in the early years of this decade for students to fail out of nearby private schools, such as Roselle Catholic, Union Catholic, and Mother Seton, and then excel academi...
