GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

When I attended it was a really well school, the things taught and learned were well put together. The school as a whole was very united in a sense

The worst has always been the science teachers. Now, every science teacher of mine left the year I was done with them. Maybe the new science teachers (if any) could be improvements. The fighting has been bad, but there have been measures put in place to improve it. However, the change won't happen in full effect in one year. It'll take longer than a year to fix the fighting, and the admin have made the right choices. The English department might be the best part of the school.

The best part of my experience at northeast was making new friends and be able to openly express myself without being criticized. The worst part is the physical altercations through students. Sometimes, I think students should just try talking it out before trying to fight one another.

My son started out at Northeast middle school and then attended Northeast high school where he just graduated from a month ago, with honors. Over the years there have been several occasions with teachers being incredibly disrespectful to students and administration not communicating safety issues/co...

The teachers are not willing to help students. I missed a week of school due to being sick and was not able to make up the assignments in time frame provided (2 days). I was told that I would have to go to credit recovery because of the failing grades considering it was finals week and the end of th...

The quality of everything here is terrible. I've been attending this school for two years now, and I would strongly advise anyone reading this to send your children somewhere else. There are consistent fights in the hall and at lunch, I've seen drugs in children's bags and heard talk of them selling...
