GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was an alright school, and your experience is highly dependent on what your intended career is after graduation. There is more of a focus on the engineering side of STEM than the others. A benefit to attending MC^2 is that 10-12th grade you will be located on a college campus, granting you that experience, and possibly making connections.

I loved the projects that we did in the school. I loved how they helped us get ready for the work place. I loved how when there are fights or disagreements between the students they resolve it with a school counselor and etc.

My experience at MC2 STEM High School has been amazing. I originally attended Lutheran High School East from 9th grade (2018-19) until half of 10th grade (2019-20). I suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. and Lutheran East was not a good fit at the time. When I got to MC2, it made me excited to go to school. Their mastery system makes me not feel pressured to get work done at a specific time. Although I came in the middle of the year, the teachers and staff made me feel like I've been attending for years.

This school is bitter sweet. For one thing when i went to this school we had so many opportunities that most high schools don't. We got to do a variety of hands on things, plus we are in the science center!. The bitter part of it is the lack of control, there is only ONE grade and the school is fill...

The school has a great atmosphere with different, unique locations around Cleveland. It provides project based learning and PSEOP (which means taking college classes while still in high school). The teachers however, are not the best. In my 9th grade year, we had an an average of around 3 substitute...

This a really good school for all types of students we are a project based learning school, so we are more focused on the education part of high school rather than sports and other extra curricular activities.
