Clifton High School is a diverse and unique school with multiple elements that make it great. For starters, the quality of teachers for the many subjects taught is superb. There are only a few outliers that I can think of off the top of my head and in those cases, it was mostly the subject and not the teachers. The environment that the school inhabits is very welcoming and the campus itself houses a lot of unique facets. From its soccer field to its diverse lunch options, there never seems to be a boring day at Clifton High School.

my experience in CHS was relatively normal and I was college-ready by my senior year. I believe the staff and resources are well manageded and we have every chance to become the best student we can possibly be. the encouragement to do so on the other hand is not as well managed as well as the schools, school spirit is awful. we don't have pep rally, nor do we have school events to bring the entire school together like other schools do to encourage their students to keep going. school spirit is very important. many times students will come together to complain about a teacher who may not be doing their job, or doing so in a manner that may not work and nothing will be done. ultimately it comes down to parent involvement.

This is a giant factory without enough conveyor belts. The school is too small and has been for a long time. If your child is in AP classes or above average then they will be treated like gold. Strong community at this school - but it is clear families need to be more involved and disciplinary action needs to be more consistent to prevent poor school behavior.

It's the best public school in the area. My sons grades completely turned around when we moved to Clifton and he was even able to get a partial scholarship to college.
