GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience here in Sampson community college has been good so far. Teacher and staff are always of site to help student on everything they need if its help on school work, logging in into the computers, and also tutoring. Teachers always remind you that if you need help to ask for help and they will help. I Would not change anything in this school everything is in good shape teachers and staff are always on site to help on everything that you need and they always make you feel welcome.

Everyone is very welcoming and easy to get along with here. I had amazing teachers that were like friends and mentors. My peers were very enthusiastic about individuality which made the school beautiful

There's many caring teachers which makes it much easier to be able to learn. We're able to get an associates degree for free at the end of our 4th or 5th year which benefits many who don't have many advantages.
