TCA prepares all their students to be exemplary citizens when they graduate. Although we have many successes with education and sports, some of the administration are not always the best with each individual students needs.

While the school is overall pretty good, there is still much to be desired. The academics are alright, but the amount of APs offered is very underwhelming, and out of all the extracurriculars, most are athletic instead of academic. The diversity is also lacking, however that's to be expected in an area which is predominantly suburban, white, and middle class. The school does a very good job teaching morals and logic skills throughout its K-12 curriculum.

Worst school experience ever (coming from a veteran teacher with a master's degree in elementary education). No transparency, targeting (trying to find a scapegoat), absolutely ineffective leadership/instruction, etc.

The best way to think about TCA HS is that up in D20 and D38 it is probably your least worst option. Palmer Ridge HS up in Monument is a good alternative if you want to try and choice-in.
