GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Colton Pierrepont School is a small school with a lot to offer their students. Despite its size, the school offers a variety of college classes, clubs and sports. There is a positive sense of community inside and teachers/staff go above and beyond for their students. I would like to see this school continue to develop stem classes and opportunities for their students.

Colton is a small school where the teachers take the time to make sure the kids thrive in each class. They are understanding and kind. The campus is small but very clean. The janitors do a great job to keep the school clean and sanitary. The school is very safe and the staff is considerate.

I was offered a variety of A.P. courses to prepare me for college which I took advantage of. It was a lot of work but it was most certainly manageable. It made me a better student and helped me with my future. The teachers were amazing and very helpful. And the special classes like Holocaust or Close up were wonderful opportunities for kids to go to Washington D.C. as part of there curriculum. I took Close Up and it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Might just be the best school our children have ever attended. A strong sense of community along with teachers that care about our children not just with what they are learning but about their world outside of the classroom. The school offers so many additional educational opportunities both during...
