Long Reach High School has a very strong and affluent community life. The students and teachers come from all walks of life and have different backgrounds that co-exist in such a positive light. In regards to academics and the learning the teaching styles aren't very congruent but the information is useful. Along with it, students are very well prepared for post-graduation endeavors and supported in their choices to the fullest.

I transferred from PG County to Howard County for the rest of my high school years and Long Reach made me feel very welcome. I connected with many teachers and students, and I tried many extra-curricular activities that did not disappoint. Overall Long Reach high school is a nice school, and a lot of people would feel the same way I do.

Throughout my years at Long Reach HS, I have been accepted and heard within a diverse community of students and teachers. Most teachers look out for the best in their students, which makes going to school fun and enjoyable. In the future, I hope that some teachers are able to adapt to their students in order to optimize their learning.
