GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love the different options in certain subjects and the opportunities when available. I do however would like to be in a stable environment with consistent standards.

This is a good school, they are always helping their students in anyway they can. but the administration is not the best

I like how the school is not as cliche and separated like in the movies. While everyone has their own separate friend groups, there is not defined "popular kids" or "nerdy kids." Everyone knows each other and acts like a community. I like that the football players and cheer leaders are also the smart students, in all honors classes. Students are not looked down upon for being smart or for slacky in school work, for the most part everyone is accepting and do not care about little things.

First off they should have never taken away the learning support room...Sorry,. co-teaching doesn't work for all students and needless to say it's been an awful experience for my child. Think about it a child that has autism, ADHD, depression, tourettes should have a personal care assistant with the...

PARENT INVOLVEMENT???? Yeah right. As long as you don't bother them. Bullying, spitting, touching from other students. Is this a BLIND school? Academics?? Not up to par. Just don't raise a fuss and allow everything and you will be fine. Been in the school district for 5 years. Really considering to...

I think there needs to be some truth here. Columbia is in the bottom 15% of all school districts in the state. For a district that only has three schools this is inexcusable. The social aspects are bad as well as evidenced by fighting and bullying. In any other district the leadership would have bee...

I'm a graduate of CHS,and proud to say so. I believe for the most part the majority of the Teachers are there for the right reason, and do a great job and it 's a hard job, God Bless our teachers.
