I love this school. I thank God that not only did I attend this school my 15 year old Javis Lucas Jr graduated from this school as well. Alcorn Middle School is a great school. The challenges are the same for public schools - whether inner city, surburban or rural. The students, parents, teachers, staff and community (village) must work together to create positive school environments for all students. The village working together can...

This is not a good school. There is peer violence, and its apalling how little respect the students have for each other, and especially school staff and teachers. Test scores are low as well.
