I love this school. I thank God that not only did I attend this school my 15 year old Javis Lucas Jr graduated from this school as well. Alcorn Middle School is a great school. The challenges are the same for public schools - whether inner city, surburban or rural. This is not a good school. There is peer violence, and its apalling how little respect the students have for each other, and especially school staff and teachers. Test scores are low as well.
