When I first started out at Columbia high school, it was when covid first started really out bad and we had the option to have virtual school and in school learning and I did virtual. The virtual experience was pretty good with me. My sophomore year was also pretty good. I got to go to school in person and experience what high school was really like. There would be fights of course but other than that, everything was great. My junior year was really fun and hard at the same time. The teachers I had really cared about us more than those who should have cared and I miss them. Now I'm finishing out my last year and I can't wait to see the outcome.

My experience at this school was exceptional. Initially, I believed it wouldn't be a good environment to learn in but gradually I came to realize that there were an excess of resources for honor students.

Made it really hard to care about school while attending this school. I had to take a step back and learn how to care about learning myself.

I moved to SC recently and enrolled my son who is 15 in the 9th grade, in Columbia High. If your child has an IEP, this is the worst school to send them. If they have to be in a "Self Contained" class, they will get no credit for attending high school only a certificate at graduation for attendance....
