I felt at home when I stepped foot on MSMS and spent my first night in my dorm. As an Emissary, I always emphasize that not only is the academic giant in Mississippi but that it has a community that rivals the communities of many colleges. The teachers are always there for you and are unlike any school facility in the state of Mississippi. If you want to grow, go to MSMS, it's not just a math and science school. MSMS is a school built to grow and build your passions. While the food is not the best and the facilities could need some work, you win regarding Academics and community.

MSMS was the best decision I've ever made to feel academically prepared and supported for college and meet lifelong friends.

MSMS was awesome and a great experience, if you're planning on applying or getting ready to attend be ready for the residence hall elevators to break and the food to be relatively okay. It's all bearable though because the school makes up for it in the academic sphere, there's lots of opportunities to learn things you couldn't at your old/current school and the coursework is enough to make sure it's ingrained in your head by the end of the year. I would definitely recommend going here if you want a good education.

This is one of the BEST SCHOOLS in MS. I was just there and it is so AWSOME. No one can teach you what MSMS teaches you. 5 STARS all the way.

The parent who gave a 2 star review on 10/9/2007 has me confused. The claim is that MSMS is not "regionally accredited" and therefore your child was not considered for the Hope scholarship. I'm pretty sure that the Hope scholarship has a Georgia residency requirement. MSMS has a Mississippi residenc...
