GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think Northern provides ample extracurricular activity, however there is a lack of overall involvement. Many people simply do things for college rather than enjoyment.

Classes offered are great but administration is awful and don't do much and then are suprised when the posters the put up for anti vaping don't stop their vaping problem....

i've had an overall welcoming experience at Northern. I would like to see less violence and discrimination, it doesn't happen frequently, but it would be nice to see it not happen.

All three of my children graduated from here and has since graduated from Rutgers. Northern did a great job for being such a large school. Their adoption if technology is on point and ahead of other districts. Keep up the great work.

I had two children there, one graduated before we moved, but no thanks at all to Northern. It was an alternative school...
