GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There are wonderful teachers that want to make meaningful connections with us, but the Arts could use more funding.

My experience at Cox Mill High school has been a pretty good one. The people are all nice, there's a lot of diversity, and the school itself is modern and clean. The worst part is probably what any student would say about high school, of course there are some teachers who are strict, people I don't get along with, and everything seems expensive to me. I don't have any major changes in mind for this school.

Cox Mill offers their students a surplus of opportunities. This school has a large variety of after school activities whether it is an student ran club, school sports, to theater shows. The teachers often proved extra support to the students who struggle with course material. The class size varies, a more advanced level of class may have 14 kids while a more general graduation requirement may have 35 kids.

My kids hated this school. We live in Highland Creek. We are not a wealthy family, and can only JUST afford to live there. My kids always felt inferior here because they didn't come from a wealthy family. They didn't have new and brand name stuff all the time, etc. It's a super snobby school, period...
