Northwest is overall a really good school! Yes the building might be older than others but the administration, classes, etc. are great

Loved it overall. The admin here, as well as our consular, doesn't make us feel like we are their top priority. Putting us in random classes and leaving us in the dark about tons of opportunities.

Northwest Cabarrus High School is an overall great school. The students and teachers here are so kind and caring. There is so much to be involved with in our school and the admin has done their best to make it a safe and fun community here at northwest. I am personally involved with the AG experience. I have taken horticulture and animal science classes and they have played such a huge role in helping me figure out who I am and what I love. I would 10/10 recommend this school.

Two of my children have gone through NW (one graduated in 2024, one currently a senior) and we've had an excellent experiencd. We moved out of Cox mill zone and transferred to Northwest in 2022, and have been so pleased. It feels like family, the teachers care about the students, and there is PLENTY...

Excellent school with tons of extracurriculars to offer such as DECA, Hosa, Beta Club, and more. My son is doing well academically and the teachers do well, for the most part. School leadership is unsupportive in more ways than I can express. Head of administration is extremely arrogant. He can not admit when he is in the wrong and has a chip on his shoulder.
