Spring Garden is an incredible place - the education here is based on the development of the students and not on an imposed curriculum. The focus on interdisciplinary learning, experience-based projects, and long-term development of relationships is incredible. There is nothing like it in the Akron area.

Spring Garden is a warm and welcoming community for students and parents alike. My now college-age students had a unique educational experience that prepared them for the future by encouraging self-confidence, a curiosity for learning and an appreciation for the world around them. A Waldorf education is a gift to your children and to your whole family.

My kids both have amazing teachers! I couldn't be happier with the education they are receiving at SGWS! We are so lucky to have a Waldorf school in the Akron area.

My child goes to this school and I love the rich and loving learning environment they have created. Their philosophy is to teach the "head, heart, and hands." We didn't think we were Waldorf people at first, but we were wrong! This school has changed our son's life. He loves his teacher, loves learning, enjoys each of his 15 classmates. While this school uses the brand name, Waldorf, it is far from a Waldorf school. Children are treated as second-class citizens. I made the mistake with one of my children, but not the other.
