GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Corbett has many opportunities for students both academically and athletically. With a small school it is easy to find a place to feel accepted and have your talents shine.

Corbett is a good school for academics and the teachers there will push you as a student. I think my favorite thing about Corbett is how much the teachers care about their students and their students' success. The only reason the students are able to do all they do is because of the wonderful teachers supporting them each step of the way. We don't have the best facilities or even a chemistry lab, but we do get Fridays off which helps the mood, and the tight knit community allows us to overcome all sorts of challenges.

I really appreciate the amount of AP classes they offer that are required to take, as well as the exams being paid off for those classes. Academically it helped me a lot. One thing that could change about corbett is their issue with spending and putting money toward slightly more important things. Another thing could be getting more language options and more classes by essentially expanding the school and the schools population.

My children just transferred to CSD from Reynolds (4th grade) and David Douglas (10th grade). They are both exceptionally happy here and the administration is bending over backwards to help my daughter who is in the autism spectrum. This is, by far, the best thing I ever could have done for my kids...

The school administration targets bipoc and low income children with unjustifiable suspensions, they overlook bullying from kids whose parents work at or work with the school administration or the school board, and it creates a hostile learning environment for the students. They don’t help kids with...

Admin has no interest in listening to parents or community regarding important issues: bullying, budget, accountability, AP for all, and much more. If you’re not on board with their agenda they have no use for you. It’s a super sad time for many families in the CSD. We pulled our kids out because of...

The school sucks but I'd rather deal with groups of 12 boys juuling in the bathroom than actual peer pressure and drugs
