GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

this is a very up building school where teachers actually can take time and sit down and have a one on one discussion about work or the student needs .

Taliferro County High School is an excellent school if you are looking for smaller classroom and one-on-one interaction with the teacher. It is family-oriented. Parents look out for each other children. Everyone knows everyone. If I had to choose a school, I would probably go to this school.

Overall a good experience, they are moving in the right direction. There are a few gaps that need bridging but I am confident that at the rate that they are going that the opportunity for growth is there.
