South Oldham has been an amazing school to attend high school. The school spirit is unmatched. South Oldham truly is one huge family. There is a teacher for everyone to talk to, that is similar to somebody in some way. There truly is nothing that I would complain about.

South Oldham has been a great experience for me through high school. I've had great teachers that make learning fun and you can tell they really care about the kids and love their job. My mom and dad also graduated from South Oldham 24 and 27 years ago. I think it's pretty cool I get to graduate from the same school as they did!

Our school seems to have been under construction the whole time I've been there. Plus, the COVID years slowed it down. That time also made it difficult to learn and connect with the school.

My son and daughter both graduated from SOHS. They LOVED it! Both took a lot of AP classes and both had great ACT scores. Tremendous school-spirit and rivalry but SOHS is the powerhouse in the county. Almost every sport goes to Ky State Tournament. Band is award winning. Many opportunities for leade...

My son just graduated in June 2013 from SOHS. It was rated by US News & World Report as the #2 school in Kentucky. (#1 was DuPont Manual which is a magnet school in Jefferson County that gets to hand pick its students.) SOHS on the other hand is a true public school that offers an incredible number...
