GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my time at Crosby Ironton secondary school I felt welcomed and like everyone wanted me to succeed. Teachers often reached out to me and everyone was invested in my success.
4.0 Senior

Crosby Ironton has passionate, understanding, and knowledgeable teachers in each department, something that is hard to find.
3.0 Junior
6/9/2017
This school definitely has its pros and cons. Some of the teachers here are not strict in the slightest and will give you 100% on your assignment whether you did it or not. Other teachers at the establishment should be college professors. They can really connect one on one with their students and know how to help them. CIHS has a very friendly atmosphere. A large majority of the staff has developed a political bias directed towards certain individuals who have made their political affiliation public. This has hindered their ability to learn and receive other grades.
