GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

my experience with cumberland county high school is fair. i truly loved walking down the halls for the past 4 years looking at all the people who walked there before me, including my parents and grandparents. the administration helped me through so much when i had my mental issues, but i would say that the sro saved me the most. when i needed to get anything off my chest, it would always be him. he was always there even in my family when he was doing his actually job. i'm going to miss seeing everyone and just going to sit in the office with them. they truly made my life worth living every single day, no matter what had happened. it was really always a good day with the people around you in that school.

My experience with CCHS is not the best. It was not the worst either. The students at CCHS could be very rude and not accepting while the staff at the school was very kind to the point where going to school was just tolerable. The school has taught me many things. It showed me a lot of the people I do not want to be when I am older. Going to school here showed me how I want to be a loving person who does not judge others because of their indifference. Like I have stated before it was not the best experience but it was an experience that I was able to learn from.

Cumberland County High School is a very excellent school, granted that no school is perfect, but this high school offers everything you would look for from sports to academics, along with many clubs to be apart of. The environment of the halls and classes makes you feel welcome and proud to be a CCHS Jet.
