The school is majority asian, and the competitive culture here is really toxic. There is some corruption in the administration as well, with counselors who "joke" about bribes, and student government systems filled with people who only work for the title and not the community. Popularity also triumphs over the meritocracy, but that's usually how it is at any high school.

At oxford academy, the school culture is weird because we don't get any new students; so everyone knows everyone's business. Academics are good, sports are mid.

Most of the teachers are excellent and care about the students' success, with a few exceptions. The curriculum is challenging, but most of the students are able to handle it. However, there is a competitive environment that drains students, since they are constantly comparing themselves to other high-achieving students.
