Oxford Academy fosters a competitive environment, pushing students to work hard to keep up with their peers. This environment, however, may also lead to burn out. Oxford needs to promote mental wellness and the importance of taking breaks rather than working all the time.

While I have not been there for very long, Oxford has a great academic life and a great administration.

Oxford is an okay school at best. It used to be well known for being an elitist type of school, now, it is barely recognized in the media. The Oxford Academy Admissions Committee let in too many incoming 7th graders, meaning that the school and district have to pay extra to get more buildings and teachers who want to deal with junior high students. Other than this, Oxford is also known for having rigorous courses, such as PreCalculus H and AP English Language & Composition
