The Dallas Christian Academy has been serving children prekindergarten through 12th grade throughout the Dallas metro area for over six decades.
Located in the heart of Uptown, the school—one of the top-ranked private schools in Texas--provides a Christian education to about 150 students and offers small class sizes and intimate learning environments. Students are required to dress in uniforms. The Dallas Christian Academy is affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church and strives to develop students academically, culturally and spiritually throughout its curriculum.
The school notes in its handbook that it was not designed to provide education for students with severe learning or behavioral problems. Teachers and staff uphold a principal of providing a nurturing learning environment while staying committed to the school’s core values of student safety, respect, academics and fostering leadership. Parent involvement is also encouraged, and parents are asked to volunteer for at least one major project or event during each school year. Students are able to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, from concert band to performing arts, athletics and more. The school is known for offering a low-cost tuition rate—about $4,150 per year in 2022—which is considerably less than national averages for private schools. Students must apply to attend the Dallas Christian Academy, which can be done so via an online application on its website.

Though there are many things about this place that annoy me, i can gladly say that the teachers are very good and so are the students. Everyone is united in there, which is a beautiful sight to see.

Our children have been attending Dallas Christian Academy for 4 years now. We immediately felt welcomed into the DCA Family. Our children love all of the teachers and staff at DCA. With small class sizes, each of our children are appropriately challenged. Our family was looking for a Christ-centered environment where our children can feel safe and loved, Dallas Christian Academy has that and so much more.

This school is an amazing community of friendly students and caring, Christian teachers. It is a smaller, family environment that welcomes students of all backgrounds. Our primary goal is to become closer to Christ each day, while growing academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
