Jefferson County High School has been a great high school and it has helped me develop into the person I am today! I have learned so much and met so many great people there. I am so grateful for this high school and the many opportunities it offers!

Jefferson County High School is the only high school in the county so it is very overcrowded. With how many people go there you would assume there would be more options for academics, but they tend to focus on ACT and trade schools. There are very few STEM teachers and they often have to take up a lot of classes due to "lack of interest."

Jefferson County High School is a very advance school for the area, they offer many cte programs for students to take. They have great welding, hvac, automotive mechanic, internetworking, etc. The best part is the opportunity to take what you want and the worst part is just some of the kids. The only change I would like to see is for even more cte classes to be made.

I went to Jefferson County schools from 1976-1987 and had a great experience all the way through. As with any school system you have great teachers and a few that are there just to collect a paycheck. My son went through he Jefferson County School system K-12 and ended with honors when graduating.Je...

I was a graduate of this school and its sad that in the past four years I've heard and experienced nothing but horror stories about how the administration deals with the students. It's sad that the school has declined so much in the past 20 yrs since I graduated here.

My daughter started here a year ago and the staff and students are wonderful. They did great at making her feel welcome and accepted. Yes the school is under construction but all school are always under some construction. They are great at meeting her academic needs also.

I am currently a student here at JCHS, I moved here over a year ago from another school. I have to say, I was quite disappointed. The school is in terrible condition. Mold is a problem, many classes are in trailers outside, a portion of the school(building 8) caved in over the summer so now there is...
