Really wasn't too great or too horrible. There was really any sort of authority over the kids and the staff really just got walked over most of the time. Would have to lock the bathroom because kids would come in there just to smoke, fight and have sexual interactions. The building is just too big like six floors is just to much plus the wifi would sometimes not even work a 1/3 of the time.

Central High School is quite a diverse school which is very nice considering I went to a mainly White school previously. I was able to meet many people from different backgrounds. I do wish they offered more clubs. They do have clubs but not as many as other schools in my district. I think this would be a great way to have others stay involved in school if they offered a variety of clubs or activities.

The education is great if you're determined and work to get yourself in the right classes. Everybody is generally friendly and you'll find a place to belong.

I went to the school from Freshman year through Senior year. Overall the school wasn’t horrible. There are a good amount of teachers at this school who truly care. I felt like the entire time I was at this school, I spoke or saw my guidance counselor maybe 3 times. I feel like with any high-school t...

All Davenport schools suck, there’s no doubt about that but Central is by far the best high school in the Davenport Community School district. West and North are both trash and have even lower test scores and are worse environments for students

They have Mock Trial, Scholastic Bowl, National History Bowl, Environmental Club, Battle of the Books, Read n R...
