GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The change that I'd like to see is for there to be more college classes available for students. There is a lack of college readiness for students, with no AP or IB classes offered.

I like that Dayton High school is a small school, so we get the opportunity of a one-to-one learning option. I would like to see more programs such as clubs and new classes added.

The staff has favorite kids and the rest of the kids might as well disappear. This school is the...

This school was good 10 years ago, not so much now. The "good-ol boy club" is stupid. The teachers and principle don't care about education and care more about having fun on the weekend or winning in sports.
