The Waldorf School of Atlanta is located on Kirk Road in the Belvedere Park neighborhood of Decatur, Georgia. This esteemed private school has an early childhood program that includes a nursery, preschool and kindergarten, a lower school for first through fifth grade, and a middle school for sixth through eighth grade.
The school’s mission is to develop their students into lifelong learners by fostering in each student the ability to think with clarity, feel with compassion and act with purpose in the world. The Waldorf School offers an array of specialty subjects, including foreign languages, music, gardening, handwork, woodworking, eurythmy, movement and games.

Wonderful school with attentive, involved and empathetic teachers. Since he has started Waldorf our son is almost a different child, he is so happy. He is excited to learn, and his self esteem is growing. He tells us that he is actually sad that the weekend is coming.

My son went to The Waldorf School of Atlanta from pre-K through 8th grade. He is well rounded in the arts and academics. He is now 23 and graduated from Emory University one year ago. His experience at The Waldorf School was amazing and I am beyond grateful for his education.
