GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I was bullied and my education was not taken very seriously. Some of my teachers didn't care what we learned, and we would watch movies. We would just also be given busy work, adn then we would just be on our phones when we were done. Our tests weren't really hard and if they were harder we would be able to use our study guide. Teachers would leave us every year and so would of coaches. A good thing they did have college classes and they paid for it. My cousnler also helped me get scholarships.

Deer Trail High School is a very smalls chool, compared to other local schools. However, the experience at Deer Trail is unlike any other around. Students build a strong education at the school, because the staff and administration is very involved with making Deer Trail High School a successful school for students to attend for a quality education.

Thought this was a great school at first. But if you have a special needs child don't send them here. The "special ed" teacher will find reasons to not teach your child and send them 30 miles awsy to an even worse program. Then they continually make promises that they refuse to keep. Your better off...
