What I like the most about Defiance City schools is that everyone gets along and we all connect and have something in common with one another. I also like Defiance City Schools because the way the academics are taught.

The building itself is nice. It was built recently, so I was able to be in the old and new building. Fights happen a little too often though. Many teachers have become my family and other have become somewhat enemies. Our band is amazing, our football team not so much. Baseball and basketball is our pride and joy.

Defiance High School is a very spirited school with tons of opportunities. However if you choose to go to Four County, a vocational, career school, you become left out of all the fun activities. It is a great place to spend your high school career to have the best opportunity for the future.

I am a DHS alumni and I have 2 children enrolled here. As a former student I was often overlooked by staff and students alike. On September 12, 2013 we stopped by the Van Wert, Ohio McDonalds. As we pulled in we noticed the Defiance school bus in the lot. Upon entering the building with our two grandchildren, we saw a large party of Defiance girls in line to order. At that point, one of the girls said why don't you go ahead...

We just recently moved here. We come from a previous school of high excellence, however, my freshman son is challenged here as well. They have a wonderful guidance counselor and staff.
