Great school and I have had a great experience so far. DHS has been a good community to me and has helped me get to where I am today.

its actually lowkey hell here. a lot of sports culture which sucks. kids r super disrespectful; a kid died last year and everyone made fun of her. food is awesome tho but 2 breadsticks is NOT a meal bro. teachers are just fine. honors science teachers are literally awesome tho. im really not prepared for college cuz i wanna go to art school and nobody (besides the art teachers obvs) really like takes that seriously.

Dekalb high school needed more staff at the time. It was an okay high school but lacked counselors to student ratio. A walk in was hard to come across. Some of the policies need modifications. Like head coverings. Potential is there but lack of inclusion.
