I am able to talk to the school staff with ease. They had guided me throughout my High School years.

Delano High School is an okay school. I enjoy that the teachers expect highly of us and challenge us to be better than the day before. However, there is a lack of extracurriculars and underfunding for the sports the staff considers unimportant. Also, there are some policies that seem to contradict each other. The school itself is the oldest in the Delano area and I suppose that's what makes it special.

I liked that everyone was so friendly at Delano High School. Everyone got along with everyone and you could easily have a conversation with anyone no matter what grade they were in. Delano High School did lack a bit in diversity since the majority of students were hispanic or filipinos, but that is also just due to the location of the school. Overall, I would recommend DHS to anyone and had a great experience there.
