It's really not as it is said to be, the administration is nice and helpful, the students are friendly, and most of the teachers are great

Overall, Pine Ridge is definitely a pretty good school. It has a lot of programs and offers Cambridge courses as well as dual enrollment, AP, etc. The administration was good when I graduated last year. The security has greatly improved since the start of my school year as well.

Entering the school as a freshman was very overwhelming though their were plenty of people willing to help. The build numbers are very confusing. I still struggle with it after 4 years of attending. During Covid-19 times the school became very discombobulated just like most schools though we dealt with it well enough to have school back in session in January 2022. Following health codes and such during this time and taking care of any people why were quarantined well. Though during this time and still till this day we have a teacher decrease issue. Many teachers leaving after 1 year of working here and substitutes becoming set to 1 class everyday for most of a students year. This making it up to the students to learn or not. Thus causing low test scores etc. Along with this the school struggles with sharing information to help students be successful. Such as college information for seniors. A huge problem with the school is the spirit. Their isn't very much of it at all.

One teacher refuses to speak to the parents, not just my students, but others as well. I have had four parent teacher m...

This school is completely terrible how can a school with the lowest ranking in mathematics still not do a thing about changing techniques with students for them to do better but instead making learning more difficult and almost impossible for students to have a good enough understanding of the mater...

My son attended this school in 9th, 10th and part of 11th. He hated it so much he wanted to quit and get his GED. I refused and tried to talk to his guidance counselor for support and ideas to help him. Her exact words "If he wants to quit, let him quit." Really?? Once we moved and he started school...
