The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

So far my attendance at this school has shown me a positive experience with teachers that truly set to excel my education, parents that are committed to the care of their children, and an optimistic environment that gives me a feeling of obtaining a hopeful future outside of high school. If I could do it all over again, I would gladly choose MBHS to receive my education, because it is a school that strives to let the student reach their goals no matter what the student chooses to do after high school.

I wouldn't of went to a different school because I grew a lot as a person due to the band program and that program changed my life and made a very positive impact on me and because of the great teachers and band program I wouldn't have graduated anywhere else.

There aren't a lot of activities but that is because we have a small amount of students at the school
Teachers here do not challenge the kids enough. They are teaching them basic stuff when they should be advancing on. Several students get caught up into drugs and bad friendships which leads to bad grades and failing classes. Not much support for kids who don't do sports or extracurricular activitie...
My son is ADD and really struggled through elementary and junior high school. He was in the same district the entire time. He really grew academically, socially, and emotionally in senior high school due to the excellent teachers who really worked with him. We received valuable feedback on a consist...
I can only speak for my child at this time, not so much for the experiences of any other kids. My son has autsm/adhd and high school is that critical time where socializing and wanting to be well liked becomes an issue. The staff has been excellent with their support during tough times, and though b...
My son attended Nooksack Valley till we told them that they needed to get him some help as he was ADD and learning disabled. They argued with us that he should be medicated. So they plunked him straight into special education classes, then he was teased. So I enrolled him in Mount Baker and he reall...

Wonderful opportunity to build a custom home in an established community. This lot is tucked back off the thru streets and offers a more secluded feel. There is a 2-bedroom fully working septic system already installed on the property. Power and water already on the lot. Concrete slab ready for a ga...
