I recently graduated from Surry County High School 17 days ago. The teachers were very kind and blunt. However, I did not enjoy school because of the work. I enjoyed it because the people were in there. Throughout the technically two and a half years due to covid, I remained with the same individuals I grew up with. The guidance counselor, Ms.Mary Johnson was my life saver. She kept me sane, humble, and positive throughout the whole process. I enjoyed this high school journey.

My experience at Surry County High School is great. Teachers and administrators are very helpful and they would like to see you succeed when you graduate. The thing that I would like to see improve is more support for the athletics and extracurricular activities. Some people show more favoritism for one extracurricular activity than another.

What I like about Surry Schools is that it is a small school so teachers relate to the students and are able to provide one on one help. One thing I would like to see change is the resources in the school. We have an old school so I think we could benefit with some new technology and new buildings.
