As someone who isn't from the small town. It was new to learn how much pride the school carries with them. Almost anyone can fit in and feel cared in the community. The school itself is nice almost getting updates yearly. The councilor always helping with classes schedules and preparing you.

Denison has a very good high school band program. It is one of the best in the state. The math program also goes up to calculus and it is very easy to learn the curriculum. One thing that is not amazing here is the school food. It is sometimes good but it seems like we don't get enough food.

My thoughts on Denison High School is that it's a pretty decent school to attend. It's diverse and a decently accepting school. It has a ton of extracurricular activities to join that make showing up worth it. The school does its best to praise students for their hard work and dedication to their craft.

I personally attended DHS and it was an incredible learning experience that has provided me with an insurmountable amount of knowledge that has helped me excel at the University of Iowa where I attended college and also has translated into my post college real world experiences in the working world....

There are a great variety of classes and sports offered for a school of it's size. The teachers are friendly and the school grounds are kept very clean.
