For the most part Denison Senior High School is a pretty good school. They tend to do well in academics and athletics. The main problem is when it comes to things like schedule changes. Depending on the schedule changes it can be very drawn out or it will be made so hard to do that it is not honestly worth it. The other problem lies within the dress code. I am all for a dress code but Denison enforces it to a point of the enforcement of the dress code becoming ten times more of a distraction to students than the student breaking the dress code themselves. I can say that the Fine Arts department is quite good at DHS and I have enjoyed being in art classes all four of my years attending and have also enjoyed being a part of tech theater this final year.

Very little clubs to be involved with. The academics are mediocre, especially in the social studies department. Most of the teachers for history are coaches that do not care.

The school has a good environment with multiple chances in advancement and opportunities. There is not a lot of close-knit relationships with the officers.

Is a great school. We arrived to Denison 1 year ago from Chile and our experience in Denison High School is wonderful. Give thank to all team that hard work day by day, and for making our young people great., Long life to Yellowjackets!!!.

I attended Denison High School. The education in minimal and the students are not cared for as they should (in regards to both their physical safety as well as emotional security). The staff are questionable and often have biases that continually affect their teaching. The worst part of my experienc...
