What I like most about this school is the relationships students have with the teachers. Often times you don't see them much as teacher but as really good friends. Having casual conversations with them about the similar interest you might have with them. From similar music taste to the love and passion for a similar sports team. We as a school preach a lot about being "A collectivo" a collective community. But in this school we are more than that. We are family. Having whole school meeting about a tragedy that might have happened to a fellow student. It create a safe and fun environment to learn in knowing that you have that close support. And that close support often times is what you need especially as a student that may go through a lot from a day to day basis out of school.

What I loved about Strive Prep- SMART was the support my classmates and I had. We were all pretty much set up for success. The only thing needed is that students have to be more involved, due to the lack of school spirit.

I've been part of Strive Prep ever since I was a freshman, from the start the school welcomed me and made me feel like I was at home. During my four years of attending to Strive Prep Smart by so far has been great four years . Strive Prep has always been a support system to me, and my teachers have always tried their best to push their students to be successful. The teachers make you feel like you matter and are always willing to help you no matter what is you need help with. Overall, Strive Prep Smart is a really good high school who cares about their students.

Thought this was going to be a better school than it is. School promotes itself and doesn't care about the kids. High teacher turnover. Son not getting the education we were told about. What a sham.

Okay, school just started today, but my son came home excited and happy..and tired :) He is inspired by activity and hands on learning and I feel this school will keep him accountable and engaged.
