GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

North Miami is a mix of everything. From a few amazing teachers who outshine everyone to most who let kids get away with a lot, along with some just don't teach

With our school being located in the middle of a cornfield in northern Indiana, there is a lack of diversity. I feel that I have been limited due to few class choices.

I like the family atmosphere and the fact that the staff really cares about each of the kids. The only negatives are that I am not sure students are challenged as much in some of their classes as they need to be, and some of the kids get away with a lot more than they should. Overall it is a good school, and I enjoy my kids going there.

This school is great because the teachers care very much about the students and the environment is great. I have a daughter who is going into middle school and the teachers are great in both, elementary and the middle school/ high school. I loves the fact that the school has iPads and the teachers s...

Poor communication skills of the staff. Very small choices for classes for high schoolers to prepare them for secondary education. The adminstration announces delays and closings very late, and often we are the only school open in hazardous conditions. Some of the teachers have largely failing class...

I'm a student at North Miami and have found the Guidance Counselor to be very pig headed as far as my dealings with her. When I had trouble getting a teacher that I felt just wasn't for the pay check she rolled her eyes and told me to come back tomorrow. I do not recommend this school at all. Our ph...
