Overall, my time at Derby High School was a mix of great opportunities and a few challenges. One of the best parts was the strong community. Many teachers were dedicated and took time to get to know students, which made the learning environment more supportive. There were also a lot of extracurricular options, from sports to clubs, which helped me stay engaged and build friendships outside of the classroom.

The best part of my experience is knowing that there are a plethora of resources offered to students, especially when it comes to community activities. I would like to see a little more cultural representation.

This school is interesting but messed up. There wouldn't be a week where a student wants to fight. I'm on the softball team and I've never felt welcomed. The captain is rude and doesn't help at all.

I moved here from a different state not knowing anyone and this school was very welcoming teachers and staff are very nice. Also the teachers are very good at explaining things into a deeper depth if you need it. Way better then my old school.
