Derby High was a great experience for me. So many opportunities to explore different career paths. Sports teams were competitive. The way the community supports our schools is top notch. It is a large school with but many ways to connect.

Derby High School was a very sports oriented school, therefore athletes received better treatment and funding then any other students, I would rather they have put more money towards safety, food, or actually bettering their students and their learning.

I like that Derby High School has such a variety of different classes, from sewing to ceramics. It allows for students to explore their interests and find out what they really like doing or are good at doing.

From the time I enrolled my child in the Derby school district in 6th grade, neither him and I were never accepted. Once those teachers put a “label” on a child, it sticks with him/her throughout the rest of their years in the Derby school district.
