Brubaker Elementary School’s mission is to establish efficient and easy communication between parents and staff while providing a nurturing environment where students can learn, grow and ask questions. They are located off of 2900 E. 42nd St., where there are currently over 640 students enrolled with around 30 teachers and additional staff.
Brubaker teaches students from kindergarten through fifth grade, and they also offer in-class reading and math support as well as special education. Art, music, technology and physical education are also taught at the school.
Brubaker Elementary School offers resources that parents can use to keep up with the school’s events and their children’s success. These include the school events calendar, infinite campus tool and monthly newsletter. Through Brubaker Elementary School, parents can also put their children in the Metro Kids Care after-school program with staff that are certified in CPR and first aid.

This school doesn't get a high academic rating now, but it is not do to lack of talented teachers and great instruction. My children have went to this school 8 years combined so far and I open-enrolled them for good reason. This school may be struggling to work with lack of funding and resources, an...
