Desoto central high school was very average in my opinion, the biggest issue was the indifference treatment by a few teachers and several administrators. Most teachers are very helpful but some look for excuses to be able to discipline students.

This school is a school every kid comes to when they move to Desoto County. Great environment one of the largest schools in Mississippi. Kids are great!! We have amazing coaches and teachers. This is my senior year starting this fall and i'm sure going to miss it once i graduate !!

I really do believe that my high school does allow the opportunities for students that hope to further their education by offering many duel credit courses with our local community college. They also help students by giving them the chance to pursue a trade by having access to the career tech centers in our county. I feel that many opportunities are also missed because the lack of social media notifications for available scholarships and other advancements are not promoted enough.

Great school, excellent principal. Standards are high as son had a 3.5 gpa graduation was May 2014 and to be in their National Honor Society you needed a 4.0 or higher. There was a high percentage of seniors that were in the society. Son was on the football team for all 4 years. Last years team was...

My son is a senior this year. I have nothing but positive things to say about DCHS. He has attended Desoto Central schools since the third grade. I wouldn't put him in any other school. I have friends who have kids in Bartlett, Germantown and Olive Branch schools and they talk about how the schools...
