Welcome to Bow Elementary-Middle School, home to the Eagles and member of the Detroit Public Schools Community District serving 512 students in the Greenfield neighborhood of Detroit, Michigan between kindergarten and eighth grade. Seven percent of Bow Elementary-Middle School's students are at least proficient in math and 9% are at least proficient in reading. The school also understands that learning happens best when a child’s emotional and social well-being is prioritized. Bow Elementary-Middle School upholds rigorous core curriculum standards and offers electives such as music, physical education, Spanish and computer technology. Outside of the classroom, students can participate in enriching activities and clubs such as chess, drumline, robotics, academic competitions and athletics including cheer, soccer, flag football and basketball. The teachers my son has had at Bow were very well educated in dealing with young children. They all have a great deal of patience which I think is needed when teaching little children
