Detroit Achievement Academy teachers dive deep into subjects through research projects guided by the Expeditionary Learning model. This public charter school in Greenfield is divided into an upper and lower school. Detroit Achievement Academy accepts kindergarten through eighth grade students from all over the state. The school serves about 250 students. Detroit Achievement Academy uses the nonprofit Technical Education Research Centers, or TERC, Investigations for math, the Lucy Calkins workshop method for reading and writing and the Fountas and Pinnell reading levels system to support students in phonics and literacy. Expedtionary Learning Research projects can include field work and community service. The school integrates art into every subject to help students discover and develop their skills as artists, musicians and performers. It also offers extracurricular clubs and activities including chess, robotics, band and orchestra, theatre, vocal lessons and chorus, music and numerous sports.

This school doesn’t not show Compassion or even try to work out issues between other children also if you go to address the issues with the Principal and assistant principal they’ll see you, and run the other way if you want your child self esteem damage send them here also never hear anything about...
