Foreign Language Immersion & Cultural Studies School (F.L.I.C.S.) is an amazing school. It is like no other school. F.L.I.C.S. is a jewel is the city of Detroit. The diversity in programs, teachers, trips, and performances is absolutely amazing. The only negative thing about this school is the lack of resources and the unsatisfactory food. Finally, I would definitely recommend F.L.I.C.S. to any student.

There are not enough extracurricular activities at the school usually because there are not enough resources to supply a quality after-school program.

Poor leadership! This school has low expectations! Students are 2 or 3 grades behind in an application school. It's best to send your child elsewhere for a good education. Don't be bamboozled by the words, "application school." Do you want a name or an quality education for your child(ren.)

There are so many student organizations, committees etc. that this elementary school could rival any high school.
