Attending this school is beneficial if you have connections. It hurts to say that due to our county being rather "small" where everyone knows everyone sometimes it definitely feels like people are favored and given more opportunities than other people. It does feel like some teachers are biased when it comes to grading. Some teachers are mediocre and leave you hanging (learning material on your own without showing any regard of helping you and having to play "catch-up"). You're under the impression that honors classes are good and go into dept on a subject but not every honors class rolls that way. Some teachers actually do that aspect while others zoom through the curriculum spending very little time on actually learning and retaining information. Most of that "depth" is surface level and doesn't dive deep into much of anything. The most depth you'll get is a package/assignment with little to no guidance on what you need to do.

My daughter had a great experience at DHS. The teachers were very supportive and informative when she was making plans for college.

My experience being at Dinwiddie High School for four full years was pretty eventful. There was a lot of ups and a lot of downs but I am just glad I made it through and pushed the whole way to the end. It pays off in the end as long as you do what you are supposed to do in school which is something I tried my best at doing I feel like.

I really hope someone sees this review because I would like the school announcements in the mornings to be more interactive!! We as students need something more than just someone repeatedly telling us to b...

This school was horrible, ,my classmates were overly judgemental, some teachers were biased, they would not grade fairly, and would not cater to any select student's needs, now there were a select few teachers who I will miss and were really passionate about their job, but overall the school was horr...
