My experience at Boston Latin Academy is okay, sometimes I hate it but sometimes I don't mind. The school lunch is a hit or miss which is the same for the teachers. At times both can be good and other times they can be nice but just personally not for you. This year I like my teachers but I'm not sure if some of their teaching styles mesh with my learning style and I am trying to figure out how to overcome that issue. The teachers are definitely willing to help if you ask for it but if you are not close to them then it might feel a bit awkward. However, this only applies to a few teachers where I find the subject difficult.

I think that the teachers at the school are dedicated and have a lot of passion when teaching their students. However, the administration has been running the school very poorly and it has been a very uncomfortable environment for students and teachers.

Boston Latin Academy is a very diverse high school and allows many opportunities for students to express themselves.

I graduated Latin Academy in 2013 with high honors and got accepted into 8/11 colleges I applied to. Now that I'm an alum, I'm able to reflect back on my overall experience at BLA. I go to this school now. This school is just so bad. They always ask for money when you get your report card. They send the money on things they dont need like paper trays for food.... like really. Plus no one listens to you. Only the honor roll we give reward to only the honor roll. When other kids...

I went here in from 9th grade in 2003 to graduation in 2007. Most of the staff, administration, and many teachers could not care less about you a human being. There none of them understood that life outside the school walls like family and work affected your performance in school. Guidance counselor...
