My high school experience was great. I was encouraged to challenge myself academically. I was able to participate in school group/organizations. I felt safe at school and bullying was never present. All students in my school respected each other. For a small town school with limited resources, Douglas High School was everything I needed.

Douglas High School is a great school for a academic and elective opportunities and a great jumping-off point for seniors looking to dive into college. I am happy that I got to spend my entire high-school career at Douglas and know that it will propel me forward into the beginning of my college experience.

School has an amazing set of teachers who work hard to challenge and make sure that all students are succeeding in school. Funding has had some issues though.

We came here via school choice from Webster, we've been here for 2 years now. I have nothing but good things to say about Douglas. At webster there were daily fights, my son has not seen even one in our time here. They genuinely care about students success and attendance.
